Shahedoriz is a project focused on scaling interceptor drone technology to shoot down Russian Shahed- and Gerbera-type UAVs.
The Foundation not only procures and supplies interceptor drones to the military but also plays an active role in launching and scaling this innovation. We help disseminate best practices across the Armed Forces of Ukraine and contribute to building a nationwide drone-based air defense system.
In May 2025, a Shahed drone was shot down by an interceptor drone for the first time. The strike was carried out by operators of the 38th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment using a drone supplied by the Sternenko Community Foundation. This milestone was the result of close cooperation with manufacturers and frontline units, testing early prototypes, and systematically integrating the technology into military operations.
Today, interceptor drones have become a fully operational component of Ukraine’s counter-drone air defense system.
