The Sternenko Community regularly supplies the military with high-quality fiber-optic FPV drones.
But what exactly is their advantage? Standard FPV drones are controlled via radio links; while this provides good range and maneuverability, it has one critical flaw: the enemy can "jam" the signal using Electronic Warfare (EW). This is precisely the problem that fiber-optic drones solve.
Instead of radio waves, the signal is transmitted through a physical fiber-optic cable. This makes it virtually impossible for EW systems to counter them. It ensures a stable connection right up to the moment of impact and allows the drones to operate in areas where conventional FPVs lose control. Additionally, these drones provide superior image quality, which directly translates to higher precision.
Our team, in collaboration with Ukrainian manufacturers, has refined several fiber-optic solutions to ensure these drones meet the specific needs of the front line. As a result, we are delivering a proven and effective tool to our soldiers, rather than just experimental designs.
The demand for "optics" is constant, which is why we have an ongoing fundraiser to ensure as many units as possible gain this technological edge.
